Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo

Since Papa didn't have a football game tonight, we decided to head out to the fair, knowing that Madison could stay up a little later than normal and be able to sleep in. Madison was the cutest cowgirl there!!

She has been talking about riding a horse ever since I came home with the pink boots. She finally got her chance tonight......

........then she rode a carousel horse........

This little monkey was so cute. He could take quarters from you quicker than you could blink an eye. He got 50 cents from Madison in about 5 seconds. She wasn't too thrilled about him touching her at first. Wish I hadn't had the hat on so that her face could be seen......

Yum!!!! Blue cotton candy is great!! Thankfully we located a restroom to clean her up before we headed to the car........

We had a great time tonight. Madison really enjoyed herself, and so did we. It has been a long time since we have taken a young child to the fair. After a quick bath, Madison was asleep before I walked out of the room.
