Ragweed

Look at this closely. It is ragweed. Stay away from it. It is the curse of living in Texas at this time of year. It has everyone sneezing, wheezing, coughing, scratching their eyes and wiping their noses. And it is predicted to be worse than ever before because of the heavy rains we had back in the spring. I have never seen it as tall as it is right now. We pray for an early frost, preferably a freeze, and that will usually do away with the problem.

Greg went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and got meds for congestion and a possible respiratory infection. He spends so much time outside with his referee stuff that he has to stay medicated to be able to be outside. Madison has a runny nose and a cough. Mine is just a cough. It sounds like the TB ward around here some nights......
