Lunch
Family
We stayed at Greg's mom's house and so did his baby sister and her two girls. We got to visit with them and totally enjoyed Kendall and Kate (and it IS Kate....if I called her Katie, Kendall was very quick to correct me!). The girls were such a joy to be around. They were polite, pleasant, happy, and well behaved. Their parents have done a great job with them!!
Nancy, the birthday girl, and her son, Stosh, who was heading to a fancy dance later.

And we thought flying would be quicker.....
We thought flying to Pensacola would be a good idea.....easy, quick, more relaxing than driving all day. Well, it looked like rain all the way to Fort Worth, then it BEGAN to rain. And it continued to rain, and thunder, and lightning......which keeps airplanes on the ground. No planes were going anywhere. Our 10:40 AM flight got delayed until well after lunch. DFW was PACKED!!

Day 3, Monday
End of the day on Monday. Making progress, although not as quickly as Mr. Kelly would like...
Today, Greg got the day off from the garage. He had a dental appointment, bought two more new windows for the garage, took me to lunch, and ran some other errands. He officiated two girl's basketball games tonight and is now asleep on the couch.....
Concert in the park
Friday night, we rode the motorcycle to Indian Springs Park and the Brazos River. Once a month, the city hosts musical entertainment. On the way, we saw all these Model A's at the Hilton. The parking lot was full. They were having a rally.

Memories
My mom went through some of her parent's things within the last several months. There were just a few things that I requested. Nothing with any monetary value, just sentimental. I remember my mawmaw serving tea from this metal pitcher.

We're rockin'.....
This was delivered a couple of weekends ago......
Bird update
The doves seem settled in and content. I try to go in the cage every day so that they will get tame to me being in with them, hope to get them to sit on my finger.
I think the bird on the right (darker too) is the male dove. He has been wooing this little gal by cooing and sitting close to her but she has totally ignored him. He will scoot her all the way to the end of the limb, and when she has had enough of his attention, she will fly to another limb and he will usually follow her.
I found this neat cage on Craig's for a great price. It needs a new floor in it and to be repainted. A guy at work has offered to give me a couple of pairs of lovebirds and I am thinking we will put them in this cage.
